GMS boys track wins conference

The Greencastle Middle School boys' track team competed at the West Central Conference meet, winning with a total of 103.5.
Elijah Brattain raced out early and in the process set a new conference record in the 2,400-meter run with a time of 7:54. Taylor Secrest won the 1,600-meter run in 5:05 and Brattin won the 400-meter dash in 56.3. The 1,600-meter relay also set a new conference record with a time of 4:03.
Head coach Art Dwigans noted most of the Tiger Cubs scoring came from its No. 2 runners He acknowledged the good performances of Jacob Kessler, Sedrick Weinschenk, Jacob Lewis and Anthony Mitchell.
