PCGSL sends thank you to supporters

To the Editor:

On behalf of the entire Putnam County Girls Softball League, we would like to thank the Greencastle Fire Department for presenting our flag on Opening Day.

We would also like to thank the group Wings from South Putnam for gracing us with their voices during the "Star Spangled Banner."

Thank you to all the girls, coaches, parents, and volunteers that have put in countless hours getting the fields ready for the upcoming season.

As league president I would like to send a special thanks to the support board members that spent the majority of their time off, working in the concession area and doing food preparations for the big event of opening day. All the hard work will ensure that we have a wonderful season and that the girls of the league will enjoy their time on the ball fields.
