Men love new trucks

Thursday, June 9, 2011
Bainbridge Town Council president Richard Cope inspects the new Ford F-350 pickup truck the town received on Wednesday. The truck was selected and purchased by the utility board and will be used by the town's utility workers. Cope looked at the truck after the board's regular monthly board meeting Wednesday night. For more information about what happened at the meeting, look for the story in Friday's Banner Graphic.

  • Yeah, they are going to burn a ton of fuel with all the miles they will put on the truck going around the metropolis known as Bainbridge.

Utility workers need storage for tools, etc, and I think the people of Bainbridge would prefer them to be able to keep things up and running when there's snow and ice everywhere, etc. Big trucks have their place, and this is one of them. Plus, an F-350 isn't that big...
