Jesse Randal Hebel, 21, Pershing: Battery with bodily injury, July 5, 1:10 p.m.

Benjamin William John Sendelweck, 32, Greencastle: Child exploitation, possession of child pornography, July 5, 2 p.m.

City Fire

July 6, 1:36 a.m.: Smoke detector activation at 401 W. Washington St. Helped residents reset alarm. Cleared 2 a.m.

July 6, 1:52 a.m.: Assisted Operation Life at 1113 Avenue E and at Putnam County Hospital. Cleared 2:13 a.m.

City Police

Four recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, two women were arrested for theft at the Walmart store on Indianapolis Road.

Arrested by Officer Jeff Modlin were Diane Martin, 35, Fillmore, and Paige Fullenkamp, 19, Fillmore.

-- At 8:46 p.m. Tuesday, Michael Lady, 38, Greencastle, was arrested at Robe-Ann Park on a warrant by Officer Matt Huffman.

-- At 2:50 a.m. July 2, James M. Rodriguez, 32, Greencastle, was arrested at Vine and Walnut streets by Capt. Charles Inman for public intoxication, theft and possession of stolen property.
