4-H dog show winners announced

The overall winners of the 4-H Dog Obedience competition are (from left) Rookie Award winner Alexi Sweet and Lola, Buddy Award winner Lindsey Hood and Toby, and Ardith Huge Memorial Award winner Micayla Jones and Kandihar.

The three overall winners of the 2011 Putnam County Fair Dog Show competition were: Rookie Award winner Alexi Sweet and Lola, Buddy Award winner Lindsey Hood and Toby, and Ardith Huge Memorial Award winner Micayla Jones and Kandihar.

Obedience champions are Eliza Massing, Rosemary Hurst, Clare Plamondon, Mariah Huge, Micayla Jones, Mikayla Roach, Sarah Woodworth and Lyndsie Beasley (also high point obedience).

Obedience reserve champions are Alex Weliever, Jacy Holtze, Lyndsie Beasley and Jordan Hays.

Obedience blue ribbons were awarded to Kayla Evans, Alexi Sweet, Lindsey Hood, Jessica Hays, Taylor Hicks, Beth Kiger, Paige Plamondon, Rosemary Hurst and Kendra Sutherlin.

Showmanship champions are Alexi Sweet, Mariah Huge and Lyndsie Beasley.

Showmanship reserve champions are Kayla Evans, Jessica Hays and Sarah Woodworth.
