Thelma Lucille Bright Clodfelter

Thelma Lucille Bright Clodfelter, 79, Greencastle, died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2011 at The Waters of Greencastle.

She had been previously employed at G.C. Murphy Co. in Rock-ville, IGA and the LAB Healthcare Facility.

She was born March 14, 1932 in Rockville to the late Pete Bright and Fern Wirth Wright.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald D. Clodfelter, whom she married Nov. 22, 1950. He died April 30, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, Steve (Marcia) Clodfelter, Marshall, and Dean (Linda) Clodfelter, Brazil; a brother, Ron (Lilly) Harney, Rockville; six grandchildren, Don Clodfelter, Marshall, Danny Clodfelter, Terre Haute, Chris Shaw, Terre Haute, Scott Shaw, Indianapolis, Phil Clodfelter, Arkansas, and John Clodfelter, Greencastle; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Woodard Sept. 14, 2006, a sister, Lea Gildersleeve, and a brother, Sheridan Lee Bright.

She was a graduate of Arcola (Ill.) High School and a member of the Christian Church of Arcola, Ill.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at Gooch Funeral Home in Rockville.

Burial will follow services in Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville.

Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 at the funeral home.
