David Lindsey Hale

David Lindsey Hale, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Aug. 5, 2011.

He was born Nov. 22, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late Bruce and Mary (Daniels) Hale.

David was a graduate of Gosport High School and served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force. David worked in the construction industry in sales and as a project manager for over 35 years, for both P. G. and E. in California and for Wallace Construction in Indiana. David was a member of SS Francis and Clare Catholic Church; past Chairman of United Crusade in Napa and Solano Counties in California and was a member of the Lion's Club.

David is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; daughter, Debra (Dave) Guidotti; sons, Dennis (Annette) Hale, Dennis (Debbie), Doug (Teresa), Darel (Sue), David (Angela), and Duane (Virginia) Heyne; brother, Tom (Darlene) Hale; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Hale.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Rd. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at SS Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road.
