Sheriff's Department

* Aug. 31, 8:15 a.m.: Vanessa Mudd, 63, Greencastle, was southbound on U.S. 231 approaching the stoplight at CR 900 South in a 2011 Honda Insight.

Mudd said the light turned green and a 1997 Chevrolet S10 stopped at the light remained in the stopped position. Anthony Kelley, 47, Brazil, driver of the S10, said the light was still red when Mudd rear-ended him.

Kelley complained of back pain.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

Terry Ford, 27, Paragon: Failure to appear, Sept. 1, 11:49 p.m.

Eric Edward Prather, 42, Ellettsville: Probation violation, Sept. 1, 6:53 p.m.

Sept. 1, 12:34 a.m.: Gas odor at Bloomington Street and Veterans Highway. Nothing was found. Cleared 12:45 a.m.

Sept. 1, 12:56 a.m.: Assisted Cloverdale Township Fire Department with structure fire on N. Lafayette St., Cloverdale. Cleared 2:48 a.m.

Sept. 1, 2:17 a.m.: Medical assist at 806 Draper St. Cleared 2:42 a.m.

Sept. 1, 8:45 a.m.: Fluid cleanup following a motor vehicle accident at Jackson and Washington streets. Cleared 8:51 a.m.

Sept. 1, 10:42 a.m.: Alarm at 904 S. College Ave. Cleared 10:52 a.m.

Sept. 1, 11:53 a.m.: Alarm at 412 S. Jackson St. Cleared 11:58 a.m.
