A Salute to our Troops

The Greencastle High School football team sports its purple camo shirts with members of county law enforcement and Clayton Tomasino, CEO of Scorpion Protective Coatings Inc. Tomasino bought the camos for the team as part of Armed Forces day at today's game versus Triton Central at 7:30 p.m. Anyone with a military ID card -- as well as local police, fire or first responder employees -- will be able to enter the game for free. The team will wear the shirts during warm-ups, but they cannot wear them during the game. "We want to thank those who serve our country," said head coach Josh Buis. Besides the team and Tomasino, Putnam County Chief Deputy Doug Nally and officer Mike Downing; Greencastle Police Department's Darrell Bunten; Greencastle Fire Department's John Shafer, Brian Moore, Jeff Elkins and Pat Carrico and Operation Life's Katie Staats and Nate Lien are also pictured.
