Location change for local blood drive Sept. 29 at DePauw University

The American Red Cross blood drive scheduled Thursday, Sept. 29 at DePauw University will now be at the Indoor Tennis and Track facility.

Those who donate during the 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. blood drive will be entered into a drawing for a $50 shopping spree.

Potential donors can go to redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code "depauw" to schedule a blood donation appointment.

To schedule an appointment to donate, persons may call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org for more information.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in some states), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.

Potential donors should bring their Red Cross blood donor card or other form of ID when coming to donate.

The blood drive was originally scheduled to take place in the DPU Union Ballroom.
