Schools celebrate Veterans Day

In honor of the men and women who have served or are currently serving our county, students in Putnam County schools held their own celebrations on Friday. Greencastle High School celebrated by having members of the Marine Corps (left), Sgt. Ricky Hopper, Sgt. Briant Francies, Sgt. Chester Taylor and Sgt. Franklin Boone attend their ceremony. Fillmore Elememtary student, Jesse Robinson honored veterans Gerel Thompson and Joe Zeiner of the U.S. Army and Air Force, during the ]ceremony. Fillmore Student Council member Alyssa Bright also read a poem explaining the meaning of Veterans Day.
