Otis 'Jim' Junior Calvert

Otis (Jim) Junior Calvert, age 74, Greencastle, formerly of Spencer, went to be with his beloved Lord on Nov.12, 2011.

Born June 6, 1937 in Owen County, he was the son of Otis Vernon and Rosetta (Bixler) Calvert.

Jim worked at Wabco Air Brakes and DePauw University and was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Sue, grandson Ronnie, great-granddaughter Breyonna, stepchildren Angie, Carl, Tish, Robbie and Greg, and several grandchildren.

He is also survived by brothers Buck, Ike and Mike and sisters Mary, Sharon, Ilene and Merea.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky; his daughter, Teresa, and his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating, interment to follow.

Services have been entrusted to Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
