Cloverdale boil order lifted

Friday, November 18, 2011

CLOVERDALE -- After three days of Cloverdale's water being under a boil advisory, it has been lifted.

Due to a water main break because of low pressure, the town issued the advisory earlier this week in the event of possible contamination.

"We got the results at noon (Thursday)," said utility manager Rich Saucerman. "All the samples were satisfactory."

The water main, which was fixed shortly after it had broken Monday, was tested for contamination and none was found.

The boil order was in effect as a precaution until the results came back favorable on Thursday afternoon.
