Mary Lou Perry Pullman, 78, Cloverdale, passed away on Nov. 21, 2011 at St. Vincent Heart Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born Dec. 23, 1932 at Danville, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Earl Clayton Coons Sr. and Mildred Violette (Woodmansee) Coons.

She was married to Donald Eugene Perry Sr. on Oct. 1, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1997. She later married Jimmie Lee Pullman on Oct. 15, 2001, and he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Mary Walton, Cloverdale, Janet Kay Carpenter, Cloverdale, Cindy Ruth Simpson and husband Lawrence, Cloverdale, Toni Lynn Sanders, Cloverdale, and Donald Perry Jr. and wife Pauletta, Marshall, Ind.; her sister, Pat Jones and husband Randall, Dundee, Fla.; her brothers, Robert Coons and wife Jean, Lake Hamilton, Fla., and James Coons and wife Bert, Brownsburg, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Church, Cloverdale and was a graduate of Avon High School.

In addition to her first husband and parents she was preceded in by death by her daughter, Connie Sue Selig; her son, James William Perry; her sister, Marion Gene Stewart; and her brothers, Carl Coons, Jack Coons, Jerry Coons, Earl C. Coons Jr. and Dale E. Coons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Perry Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. until service time at Whitaker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
