Tons of toys to give

Friday, December 9, 2011
The Giving Tree of Putnam County has met with a larger need this year and continues to give families in Putnam County the opportunity to have a merry Christmas with presents under the tree. With 250 families, and each child getting at least two gifts each, the organization spent the week collecting their final presents and wrapping them up Thursday for pick-up on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 5-year-old Grace Clodfelter takes a break from wrapping to play her Nintendo 3DS among the toys donated by the Walmart Distribution Center and Little Dude Ranch.
