Jesse Junior Wingler

Jesse Junior Wingler, 82, Coatesville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011.

He was born in Hendricks County on May 6, 1929, the son of Jesse V. and Leona Deem Wingler.

He was a funeral director for more than 30 years and had been the owner of Wingler Funeral Home in Coatesville for 21 years. He was a member of the Coatesville Christian Church, a 50-year Mason and a member of the Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean Myers Wingler; children Diana (Wendell) Owens, Steven (Becky) Wingler, Donald Wingler, Glenda (Larry) Edwards and David (Melinda) Wingler; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother Harry "Bill" Wingler; and sister Beulah "Booty" Burcham.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd A. Wingler; his parents; and siblings, Wayne "Bud" Wingler, Maurice "Tubby" Wingler, Harold "Freeman" Wingler, Wendell "Buck" Wingler and JoAnn Noble.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m.
