Tiger Cubs win John Foutch Tournament

ELLETTSVILLE -- The Greencastle freshman boys' basketball team captured the Edgewood Invitational Saturday.

Using a superior team defensive effort, the Tiger Cubs defeated Bloomfield 39-14 and the host Mustangs 30-17.

Greencastle did not allow more than five points in any quarter for the day.

Brody Bollman led the scoring vs Bloomfield with 12 points followed by Adam Gerard scoring eight.

Brody led the scoring column again in the championship game with 10 followed by Calvin Hughes with five.

This is the first time Greencastle has won the Invitational.
