Richard Warren Mishler

Richard Warren Mishler, age 50, of Greencastle, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born Feb. 6, 1961 in Greencastle, he was the son of Warren E. and Betty N. (Rollins) Mishler, and a 1979 graduate of Greencastle High School.

He married Cindy L. (Vanlandingham) Mishler on June 5, 1982, and she survives.

Richard had been a truck driver with Roadway, now Y.R.C., for several years. He had been active with the Boy Scouts, attending jamborees with his sons, receiving a mentor pin, and seeing his son become an Eagle Scout.

He was a member of the Putnamville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy; his sons, Richard Benjamin Mishler, Jordan Matthew Mishler and Daniel Robert Mishler; his parents, Warren and Betty; sisters, Rita (Jim) Jackson and Kathy (Larry) Jones; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Vanlandingham.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Putnamville Baptist Church with Pastors Rick Brown and Jim Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery

Friends may call at the Putnamville Baptist Church 637 E. U.S. 40, from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23.
