Early bird deadline March 5 for Learning Series workshop

The Putnam County Community Foundation has announced the first in its 2012 Non-Profit Learning Series.

The workshop will take place on March 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Inn at DePauw.

Stephen Earnest of IUPUI will be presenting "Meetings That Work." With more than 30 years teaching graduate courses on how to run more effective meetings, Earnest is a national expert.

The interactive workshop will discuss planning tools for use before and after meetings as well as methods for more accurate recording of meetings.

The workshop is sponsored by Bonner Scholars of DePauw and the cost is $15 if registered and paid by March 5 or $25 at the door. The cost includes the workshop, a catered lunch, and all workshop materials.
