Say hello to $4 gasoline

Saturday, March 3, 2012

At mid-day Friday, Greencastle got its first look at $4 gasoline this year as the Speedway station on Indianapolis Road was among the first to raise all its gasoline grades to $4 (or splitting hairs at $3.999 per gallon for unleaded regular) and others quickly followed suit. It might only be the beginning, as some analysts have predicted we'll see $5-a-gallon gasoline by the ending of the year.

  • Greencastle has been higher than any where around on gas prices. It will be $3.79 here, go to Bainbridge or Brazil and its .20 cents cheaper per gallon. Every station with the exception of Casey's, over price all the time in Greencastle thats why I buy out side of this town!

  • Get the GasBuddy app for your phone to find the cheapest gas locally without driving all over town.
