Friday, March 9, 2012

The Putnam County Convention and Visitor Bureau is accepting monetary donations to help in the tornado relief efforts for southern Indiana.

The bureau is located at 12 W. Washington St. (south side of the courthouse square) in Greencastle. Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday (closed 12-1 p.m. for lunch).

The CVB will be collecting donations through next Friday, March 16.

At the end of that deadline, all funds will be taken to the New Washington State Bank and the local donation made.

The money raised will go to all individuals that need help during this difficult time.

Persons with any questions may call the bureau at 800-829-4639 or 653-8743.

  • I expect Visitors Bureau to make a considerable donation as well. It's the right thing to do.....and it's allowed.
