Bobby Farrell Purcell, 67, Bainbridge, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his residence.

Born Sept. 11, 1944 in Ozark, Ala., he was the son of Elmo and Corene (Baldwin) Purcell and was a 1962 graduate of Turkey Run High School.

Bobby had worked at Mallory's for several years and had retired from Happico, where he was a skilled tool and die maker. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard, serving from 1972 to 1973.

Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the V.F.W.; American Legion; Moose Lodge; and the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his sisters, Chyril Hoke of Bainbridge, June Burns of Lebanon, and Kathy Houser of Newburgh; five nieces; a nephew; great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Allmon officiating. Interment will follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of service on Sunday.
