Beech Grove UMC

Beech Grove United Methodist Church will have Good Friday services at 7 p.m. with communion. Everyone is invited.

Easter services at Beech Grove UMC will be at 8 a.m. with breakfast to follow. There will be no 11 a.m. worship service.

Russellville Community Church

Russellville Community Church, 103 W. Third St. in Russellville, will be holding services each evening from April 1-6 in observance of Holy Week.

April 1, Palm Sunday, will begin at 6 p.m. During the week, services will begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome to join.

Speakers during this time will be pastors from area churches and include Paul Champion, Scott Volland, Don Perry and Alan Small. Special music will be offered by area musicians Connie Porter, Kevin Swaim, Mike Jones, Ashi Ramsay and the Rainbow Dancers of Russellville Community Church.

Wellspring Christian Church

Wellspring Christian Church, 3256 S. CR 725 East, Coatesville, will host Good Friday and Easter services.

Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m.

Easter services will include a 7 a.m. sunrise service and 10 a.m. regular

Cloverdale UMC

Cloverdale United Methodist Church, 364 W. Robert Weist St., will have its Good Friday service at 7 p.m.

The church will host its annual Eggstravaganza Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 11:30 a.m.

The hunt will be separated into four age groups: 2 and under, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11.

Hundreds of candy-filled eggs and prizes will be available service.

Putnamville UMC

Putnamville United Methodist Church will host an East Egg hunt on April 7 at 11 a.m. The event will take place rain or shine.

There will be eggs for three age groups: preschool, kindergarten through second grade and third through sixth grade. Older youths and adults are welcome to help hide eggs at 10 a.m.

The hunt will be held on the church lawn if weather permits or inside the church otherwise.

The public is welcome. The historic brick church is located in Putnamville on U.S. 40.

Eminence Christian Church

Eminence Christian Church will host a number of events commemorating the Passion Week as the Easter holiday approaches.

At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1, Palm Sunday worship service will include the presentation of the palms by the young people of the church.

Maundy Thursday service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15. The service features singing and a candlelight communion service.

The church will host the Eminence community sunrise service on Easter Sunday, April 8, at 7 a.m. Eminence Baptist Church Minister Sonny Ooley will present the message.

The Easter worship service at Eminence Christian Church features a special musical presentation by youth and church members. The service is slated for 10:30 a.m. with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Eminence Christian Church is located at the corner of North and Forrest streets in Eminence.
