The Cloverdale boys' track team defeated Shakamak 99-23 Thursday.

CHS head boys' track coach Andrew Tyler said it was another good showing for his team, with many athletes posting personal best times. A few of those posting PRs were Chris Worthington in the 800-meter run, Wade Warren in the 110-meter hurdles and Bret Brumfield in the 100-meter dash and the 400-meter run. Cloverdale also swept all three relays.

"We are looking for a little more consistency, but I am very happy with our performance," Tyler said. "We are focusing on Monday's meet with Owen Valley and South Putnam. Owen Valley has a solid team and coach (Carl) Coons always has his boys ready for us.

"We are looking forward to what should be a very competitive three-way," Tyler said.
