DANVILLE -- With a great evening for a golf meet, the Cougar boys' golf team managed to come out a winner Tuesday night against North Vermillion.

The Cougars suffered from higher than normal penalties, the squad was able to score a 182 against North Vermillion's 195.

Jon Willard had a tough night with five penalties, but still was able to card a 53, thanks to his low number of putts for the evening. Danny Smith was medalist for the night with a score of 43, Mason Asher followed with a 45, while Jake Smith, Quade Snyder and Lance Clodfelter all carded 47's.

Player Emmett Holsapple shot a 55, with Tyler Martin posted a 57 and Aaron Green carded a 59.

The Cougars are still maintaining their goal of posting team scores below 200 this year and everyone lowering their own individual scores.
