Sherry A. Humble

Sherry A. Humble, 61, Greencastle, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 26, 1950 in Indianapolis, and was the daughter of Arthur F. and Ida M. (Thompson) Guy.

She was employed by Boston Scientific, Spencer, and was a member of the Cataract Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Hicks and husband Guy, Freedom, and Samuel Humble, Greencastle; her mother, Ida M. Guy, Indianapolis; her bonus children, Sherry Williams, South Carolina, Daryl Humble, Mooresville, and Doug Humble, Greencastle; her sister, Teresa Robinson, Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Arthur F. Guy; her bonus son, David Humble, and her brother, David Guy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13 from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
