Jeanette Tippin Brown, Winter Park, Fla., passed away June 10, 2012 at the Manor Care Rehab Center in Winter Park, Fla.

She was born July 13, 1931 near Salem, Ind., and was the daughter of James and Nellie (Martin) Tippin.

She was a 1949 graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended Milligan College in Tennessee.

In August 1954, she married James C. Brown, minister of the Somerset Christian Church. Together they ministered in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Florida.

Survivors include four sons, Tim (Cynthia), Philip, Winter Park, Fla., Kermit (Mary) California, Sam (Tabitha), New Palestine; brothers Leon (Donna) Bainbridge, Howard (Maria) Greencastle, Morris (Nancy) Medora; and sisters Eleanor (Chris) Minto, Cannelton, Ind., Margaret (John) Kessinger, Bainbridge, Mildred (Don) Rusk, Terre Haute, Marilyn (Berndette) Phillips, Indianapolis, and Joanne (Don) Walker, Fairland, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Kent.

Memorial services will be conducted at the Winter Park (Fla.) Christian Church on Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m.
