Greencastle Church of the Nazarene

The Greencastle Church of the Nazarene will sponsor "Backyard Bible School" on June 18-22.

With the backyard theme, VBS will take place each evening from 6-8 p.m. at 1140 Avenue E.

Eminence Christian Church

Vacation Bible School begins Sunday, June 17 and continues through Thursday, June 21 at Eminence Christian Church. VBS begins at 6:15 p.m. each evening and concludes at 8:30 p.m.

The theme of VBS is Babylon. Beginning with Sunday, the themes throughout the week are: When things change God is with you, When you need help God is with you, When you are afraid God is with you, When you are lonely God is with you and When you are thankful God is with you.

Daniel is the main Bible character in this year's VBS. Children are invited to come hear about Daniel as well as his three friends in the fiery furnace.

VBS features crafts, recreation, Bible studies, music and refreshments. Registration begins at 6 p.m. each evening.

VBS is free and the public is invited to attend. Eminence Christian Church is located at the corner of North and Forrest streets in Eminence.

Stilesville Christian Church

Stilesville Christian Church will sponsor "Adventures on Promise Island" Vacation Bible School on June 18-22 from 9-11 a.m.

Fillmore Christian Church

Fillmore Christian Church. 101 Main St., Fillmore, will host "Go Fish Praise" on June 25-29 from 6-8:30 p.m. each night.

The event is open to children age 4 through sixth grade.
