On Tuesday, June 19 at 11 p.m. Richard Dujaun Hughley, 24, Terre Haute, was booked into the Putnam County Jail on two counts of possession of marijuana and sale of marijuana.

* On Thursday, June 14 at 2:08 p.m. Kyle J. Coomey, 21, Romney, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 1996 Ford F250 when his truck was hit in the rear end by a 1995 Ford Escort driven by Jesse M. Barker, 31, Roachdale.

Barker said he believed he fell asleep at the wheel.

Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* On Saturday, June 16 at 5:13 p.m. Del Bear, 43, Rockville, was westbound on U.S. 36 in a 2004 Kia Optima. He said he apparently fell asleep, as he has had issues with diabetes.

The vehicle crossed the centerline and eastbound lane, exiting the road and hitting a ditch.

Bear complained of back pain and was taken by Putnam County Hospital by Operation Life.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* On Tuesday, June 19 at 5:46 a.m. David A. Bennett, 45, Brazil, was eastbound on U.S. 40 in a 1996 Dodge Neon when he hit a deer.

Damge $2,501-$5,000.
