Myrtle Cundiff, 91, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born Feb. 26, 1921 in Yosemite, Ky., she was the daughter of Ira and Maud (Pike) Randolph.

She was a 1939 graduate of Middleburg Kentucky High School.

Myrtle had been a homemaker and worked at P.R. Mallory's in Greencastle.

She was a member of the Greencastle Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her children, Phyllis Neumann of Greencastle, Lana (Larry) Schimpf of Greencastle, Mary (David) Beck of Carmel, Alma (Rob) Jeffs of Muncie, and James (Karen) Cundiff of Avon; a sister, Pauline Richards of Cincinnati; sons-in-law Richard Wood and Steve Dittmer; 22 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughters, Joyce Wood, Anna Jones and Susan Dittmer, three brothers, Sherman Randolph, Ira C. Randolph and an infant John Glen Randolph; five sisters, Orpha Bryant, Edna Baugh, Alberta Gossett, Marie Noel and Peggy Williams, and a son-in-law, James Neumann.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 13 from noon until time of service.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
