Ruth (Tague) Long

Ruth (Tague) Long, age 90, Pompano Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 in South Florida.

She was born Nov. 28, 1921 in Hancock County to the late Clarence and Luella Simmons Allender.

Ruth was a member of the Greencastle Christian Church and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Cloverdale Chapter 36

In the early 1980s, after her retirement from the Indiana State Farm, in Putnamville, Ruth moved to Pompano Beach to be near her family. She lived there until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Long.

Ruth is survived by her son John Tague and daughter-in-law Linda Tague of Pompano Beach and two grandchildren, Stacia Tague of Spring Hill, Tenn. and James Tague of Pompano Beach.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, Ind., with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery Greenfield, Indiana.
