Retreat Campus hosts women Christian writers' workshop

Providing inspiration and instruction, the Heartland Christian Writers' Retreat will come to The Retreat Campus, Quincy, on Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22.

Limited to 10 women, this writers' retreat offers a curriculum focused on goal setting and writing to publish.

Registration is open through Sept. 5 at a cost of $199. An in-depth manuscript edit is $25 and must be received by Sept. 5.

Featured instructors will be Janet Hommel Mangas, a weekly columnist for Johnson County's Daily Journal and author of simplycultivating.blogspot.com, and Joyce Long, communications coordinator for Center for Global Impact (myCGIstory.com) and author of Real Mothers.
