Clover volleyball posts sixth win

CLOVERDALE -- Cloverdale volleyball is on a roll, picking up its sixth win in as many games against Union Dugger Monday. The Clovers won 25-17, 25-22 and 25-13.

Lindsay Robson and Bristy Skiles led Cloverdale in scoring with 10 points each. Taylor Jones and Bradanne Toney followed with four points each. Paige Gruener and Rebekah Jordan added three points each, with Megan Hilterbrand, Jessica Winders and Adri Patterson chipping in two each. Ali Nees contributed one point.

Toney had 18 kills, with Jones adding nine, Patterson six and Gruener five. Skiles recorded 27 set assists.

"Union was digging up most everything tonight, but we found a way to win," CHS head coach Kathy Moore said. "There are no easy matches. You have to be ready to play your best each match."

The junior varsity also own 25-13 and 25-19 to move to 4-2 on the season.
