Fillmore Chicken Barbecue set this Friday and Saturday

FILLMORE -- The Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department will host its 53rd annual chicken barbecue on Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22.

Food will be served beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and on Saturday beginning at noon. There will be a parade on Saturday at 1 p.m. and live entertainment on both nights.

Booths will open on Friday at 5 p.m. and on Saturday at noon. Raffle tickets will be $1 each and the prize drawings will be on each night.

First prize will be a gaming system, second prize will receive outdoor camping equipment and third will win a mystery prize.
