Clovers move to 19-1 with win over Eels

EMINENCE -- The Cloverdale volleyball team moved to 19-1 on the season with a four set win over Eminence Wednesday.

The Clovers won the match 25-17, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-15.

Bradanne Toney paced the Clovers with 30 kills, six blocks, 13 digs and four points, with Paige Gruener adding 10 digs, five kills and six points. Taylor Jones had 10 kills, 12 digs, four aces and nine points, with Adri Patterson contributing six kills, three digs, one block, two aces and seven points.

Lindsay Robson recorded six digs, three aces and 18 points, while Bristy Skiles added 37 set assists, three digs, two kills and five points. Rebekah Jordan had six digs, two aces and eight points. Megan Helterbrand, Jessica Winders and Lexi Branneman had a dig each.

"We are happy to get the win and are looking forward to tomorrow (Thursday) night's match with Tri-West. The next few days are busy as we play a tournament at Cascade Saturday against some very good competition," Cloverdale head coach Kathy Moore said.

The Cloverdale junior varsity also won to improve to 16-4 on the season.
