Gloria Raab

Gloria Raab, 87, Reelsville, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Cloverleaf of Knightsville.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1925 to Ralph and Nellie Riddell.

Gloria was the secretary for Reelsville Elementary and South Putnam High School, and was a member of Croy's Creek Congregational Church, where she served as secretary for more than 25 years.

She enjoyed Indiana University basketball and sat on the Putnam County Library Board.

Survivors Include her husband Joe Raab of Reelsville; sons Jeffrey Raab of Indianapolis and Jerry Raab of Chicago; Jack Riddell; and sisters Helen Vanes of Oregon, Norma Murphy of Illinois and Sally Mahoney of Oregon.

Gloria was preceded in death by her son Rick Raab and her sister Margurite Leachman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Croy's Creek Congregational Church. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Moore Funeral Home in Brazil.
