McCloud Nature Park program on owls scheduled for Nov. 3

On Saturday, Nov. 3, McCloud Nature Park will be having a program on owls. The event is free but registration is required. It will start at 8 p.m.

Attendees will learn about several species of owls that live in the park at McCloud. After the program, hiking will be permitted to engage with the owls.

The event will last for one and a half hours. Please call Hendricks County Parks and Recreation at (317) 718-6188 to make reservations.

McCloud Nature Park is operated by Hendricks County Parks and Recreation and is located five miles south of North Salem at 8518 N. Hughes Rd.

Admission is always free and the park is open from dawn to dusk daily. The Nature Center's hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
