Horsepower on Display

Taking advantage of a beautiful Indian summer evening Thursday, Ellly Ziegelman (in pink bonnet), Charlotte Jones (right) and Darlene Wall enjoy a carriage ride as part of Asbury Towers' third annual Senior Extravaganza in Greencastle. Robert Ross of Enchanted Evenings Carriage Co. takes the reins as the carriage rolls along Market Street for a trip around the block. Asbury Towers residents, their visitors and the public enjoyed an outdoor dinner, cakewalk and music by Wayne Howery among other activities. Donations were accepted on behalf of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with all proceeds to be donated to the Putnam County Hospital Oncology Center.
