Perfect Day at the Park

Taking advantage of a sunny, nearly 60-degree day Sunday afternoon at Robe-Ann Park, Jeannette Schilling of Greencastle slides down the tube slide with daughter Hannah, 2, at the Emerald Palace playground. Although the park officially closes each year on Oct. 31, the Bloomington Street gate will remain open until the first snow or ice falls. After that, all gates will be closed since no snow removal is done at the park.
