Annis L. Dozier

Annis L. Dozier, 87, of Bainbridge, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1924 in New Winchester to Abe Wood and Edna Branson Wood.

Annis was a 1942 graduate of New Winchester High School.

She married John M. Dozier on July 22, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2003.

Mrs. Dozier retired from Mallory's and had worked at Angwell Curtain Factory. She was a member of Greencastle Christian Church and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Her parents, a sister and a brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Allen and husband Amos of Greencastle, Karen R. Furby of Bainbridge and Diane Siebrase and husband Tim of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Lori Krominaker and husband Curt, Bill Furby, Bryan Allen and wife Lisa, John Furby and wife Krista, Amy Johnson, Michael Tillotson and wife Renee, Joe Siebrase and wife Khiara, and Nathan Siebrase; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Kathi Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at New Winchester Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon until time of services at the funeral home.
