Terry L. Branham

Terry L. "Radar" Branham, age 59, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 from a logging accident in Parke County.

Born Aug. 3, 1953 in Greencastle, he was the son of Robert M. and Margaret E. (Kean) Branham Sr.

Terry was a third-generation logger, having owned and operated Branham Logging for several years.

He was a member of the Deer Creek Coonhunters Club and the Cloverdale Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Lou McCracken, Carolyn S. (Jay) Sutherlin and Connie S. (Greg) Servies; a brother, Robert M. Branham Jr.; uncle David L. Branham; nephews Travis L (Kristy) Smith, Daniel R. Branham (companion Connie Rose) and Cody Leak; great-nephews, Aaron B. Smith, Tyler L. Smith and Devin S. Smith; special brother-in-law, Larry K. Query; great-niece, Jazlyn Fulford Smith; several special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Shawn M. Coffman; a great-niece, Margaret L. Smith, and a great-nephew, Joseph A. Bumgardner.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor A.J. Cox officiating. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Thursday, until time of service at the funeral home.
