In praise of downtown developments

To the Editor:

The innovation and renewing from the Stellar Communities Grant are bringing much enhancement to our downtown area.

The new facades on the storefronts are coming along very nicely. The DePauw Bookstore and Starbucks have brought an added attraction, giving a nostalgic touch of a bygone era.

Hopefully the aesthetic improvements will attract other shops, restaurants and businesses to bring back our classic downtown area.
