Norma E. Pilkin

Norma E. Pilkin, 71, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.

She was born on March 14, 1941 in Indianapolis to Levi Barnett and Grace Carrington Barnett.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Glenden Barnett, Patricia Daniels and Melvin Barnett.

Surviving are her beloved children, Alvin Pilkin of Indianapolis, Stacey Pilkin and companion Richard Zellars of Greencastle, and Robin Rumley and husband Robert of Reelsville; siblings Levi Barnett, Donald Barnett, Ronald Barnett and Joe Barnett, all of St. Mary's, Mo., Leroy Barnett of Perryville, Mo., Rose Marie Wilcox of St. Louis, Linda Boller and Mary Greene both of North Salem, Helen Sue Basler of St. Genevieve, Mo., and Virginia White of Perryville, Mo.; six grandchildren, Brad Rumley and wife Christina, Eric Rumley and wife Elizabeth, Alan Fuller Jr., Jeremy O'Conner, Latasha McComb and husband Marcus and Talissa Wade and husband Cody; nine great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec.19 at Putnamville Cemetery with Pastor Randy McNeely officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
