Ready for Business

While both men are technically new Putnam County Commissioners, newly sworn in officals Don Walton (left) and David Berry (center) come to the job with vastly different experience levels. Walton, the District 3 commissioner, served the county for 28 years as a commissioner and four more as a councilman, while District 1 commissioner Berry is new to county elected office, have been elected previously as a township trustee and advisory board member. The two men were among four officials who took the oath of office from Putnam Circuit Court Judge Matthew Headley on Friday afternoon.
