Girls' slow-pitch league to begin sign-ups

The Putnam County girls' slow pitch softball league will begin holding sign-ups this weekend and continue through the middle of March.

There will be registrations on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a variety of locations around the county.

The first chance to join is Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Bainbridge Community Building.

The remaining scheduled dates are:

* Feb. 16 at Greencastle McDonalds.

* Feb. 23 at Cloverdale McDonalds.

* March 2 at Greencastle McDonalds

* March 16 at Greencastle McDonalds
