Girls' basketball sectional draw set

The brackets for the IHSAA girls' basketball tournament were announced on Sunday.

Greencastle and South Putnam each begin postseason play on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The Tiger Cubs will travel to Brown County to take on West Vigo at 6 p.m.

The Eagles face Speedway at Speedway at 6 p.m.

Cloverdale was the only local team to receive a first-round bye.

The Clovers will play Friday, Feb. 8 at Speedway at 6 p.m., facing the winner of the South Putnam versus Speedway game.

North Putnam faces Crawfordsville in its opening round game. The Cougars take on the Athenians on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.

That game will be at Lebanon High School.
