Free basketball clinics at DePauw

The DePauw women's basketball players will hold their second free basketball clinic on Monday. Boys and girls in pre-K through eighth grade are invited to attend.

The event is Feb. 4 from 7-8:30 p.m.

The clinic will focus on fundamentals, teamwork and fun, and offers a chance for kids to spend time and learn from the top-ranked team in the country.

Registration will take place at the Lilly Center gym entrance from 6:30-7 p.m.

Those who pre-register or attended the first clinic need only to sign in.

A parent or guardian should accompany the child at registration and is welcome to stay and watch the clinic.

The clinics are free of charge, but optional donations to the Humane Society of Putnam County and its reopening efforts will be accepted at the door.

Interested parties should check the DePauw athletic website for updates regarding inclement weather.

The Lilly Center is located at 702 S. College Ave. in Greencastle.
