Herbert Louis Wehrheim

Herbert Louis Wehrheim of Camby, Ind., and Naples, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 18, 1941.

Herbert served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1965.

He retired after 45 years as an electrician for IBEW Local 481.

His memberships include the Order of Eastern Star and the Masonic Temple of Greencastle No. 47 F & AM, where he was a past master.

Herbert is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Judy Wehrheim; children Melody (Russell) Schoemann and Frank (Elizabeth) Wehrheim; grandchildren Brianna Wehrheim, Elliott Voge, Mason Voge and Tristan Voge; stepmother Henrietta Wehrheim; and brother Franklin (Jan) Wehrheim.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Nikki Wehrheim; parents Franklin Edward Wehrheim and Charlotte Fern Hague; and sister Mary Hague.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Flanner and Buchanan, Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
