Storm watcher class set for Thursday

Putnam County Emergency Management is hosting a Skywarn class at the Emergency Operations Center on Thursday evening.

The 7 p.m. class will be approximately two hours long.

During the free class, National Weather Service officials will teach volunteers how to report severe storms to local authorities and to the weather service.

The venue will hold 40-50 people.
