Edward Earvin Lawson

Edward Earvin Lawson, 47, of Crawfordsville, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.

He was born in Greencastle on Nov. 3, 1965 to James Earvin and Geraldine Francis Webb Lawson.

He graduated from North Putnam High School in 1984 and served in the U.S. Air Force as a senior airman from 1985-89.

He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Amber Lawson, of Terre Haute; one son, Zachary Lawson of Stilesville; four brothers, Steve Witt and William Witt of Phoenix, Ariz., James Lawson of Dayton, Ohio, and Hank Lawson of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; one sister, Teresa Lawson of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and three brothers, Jack Witt, Rex (Jingles) Manion and Bobby Witt, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be conducted at noon Monday at Roachdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. to noon. Rev. Diane Lawson will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
